Bulega bounces back in incident-filled FP3 to go top

Italian takes P1 in the final minutes despite having suffered a highside earlier in the session

Nicolo Bulega (Sky Racing Team VR46) was quickest in a crash-filled FP3 for Moto3™ in the Czech GP, with eight crashes in the first fourteen minutes – and yet more to come as almost half the field took a tumble due to the low grip.

But Bulega bounced back from his crash to go quickest, a tenth ahead of Philipp Oettl (Südmetall Schedl GP Racing) – another crasher – with Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) in third.

Sadly, Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) withdrew from the event before FP3, following his crash in the German GP. He was passed fit to ride but will instead try to come back at the Austrian GP.
