Moto2™, Moto3™ teams to test in Jerez on Tuesday

Some intermediate class and lightweight class riders will be back on track in Andalucia this week

After the MotoGP™ riders took part in an official test at the Circuito de Jerez – Angel Nieto on Monday, it’s the turn of some of the Moto2™ and Moto3™ riders to get a day of testing under their belts before Le Mans.

In the Moto3™ class, 12 riders will be circulating on Tuesday, including the two SIC58 Squadra Corse machines of Jerez race winner Niccolo Antonelli and runner-up Tatsuki Suzuki. Alongside them are six other teams, including Championship leader Aron Canet (Sterilgarda Max Racing Team) and fourth in the Championship Kaito Toba (Honda Team Asia).

26 Moto2™ riders will be putting in the laps on the same day, with Championship leader and Jerez race winner Lorenzo Baldassarri on track for FlexBox HP 40 alongside teammate Augusto Fernandez. Dynavolt Intact GP won’t be present in Jerez, neither will HDR Heidrun Speed Up, SKY Racing Team VR46 or Italtrans Racing Team. The rest of the teams will be in southern Spain for one more day though.
