On 19th June 2019, the 2019 MotoGP™ eSport Championship begins so players on the Sony PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, can compete in a new and expanded series that gives gamers the chance to compete within one of MotoGP™’s existing teams.

Start your journey to the top by registering on esport.motogp.com to compete in the six challenges on offer. The quickest twelve riders from the six challenges – six from Europe (2 from PS4, 2 from Xbox One and 2 from PC) and six from the rest of the world – will qualify for the Pro Draft, which begins in August. In total, 36 gamers from Europe and 36 from the rest of the world make through to the Pro Draft.

The second stage of this year’s MotoGP™ eSport Championship, the Pro Draft will be open to the gamers that qualified from the six online challenges. Eventually the fastest nine riders from Europe and the fastest three from the rest of the world will qualify for the Global Series.

The quickest twelve players from the Pro Draft will progress to the Global Series, a six-race championship that will be held at three different locations. In this, each rider will represent one of the existing teams in the MotoGP™ World Championship. Not only will the eventual World Champion have the honour of holding that title, but they will also be the recipient of a BMW M135i xDrive Coupe.

There are a host of exciting prizes with the runner-up prize of a new Yamaha YZF-R3, and a third place prize courtesy of MotoGP™ eSport partner Lenovo™. The stakes are higher than ever as gamers worldwide battle to become the third MotoGP™ eSport World Champion.

Following the incredible success of the past two years, the MotoGP™ eSport Championship is back for a third season in 2019, offering fans from across the globe the chance to become World Champion. With a global reach of 143 million people, and 46 million video views online over the past two years, the MotoGP™ eSport Championship continues to grow apace.
