Paolo Sesti passes away aged 74

The former President of the Italian Motorcycle Federation has sadly died after a long battle with illness

Paolo Sesti, President of the Italian Motorcycle Federation for 20 years between 1996 and 2016, has sadly passed away after a long battle with illness.

Born in Bergamo, Italy, in 1947, Paolo was elected as President of the Italian Motorcycle Federation for the first time on the 28th of September 1996, remaining in his position until December 2016.

Among the numerous institutional roles Paolo covered, he had been a member of the National Council of Coni in the four-year period between 2005 and 2008, and Vice President of the International Motorcycling Federation from 2007 to 2010.
